I don't return many items but when I do I expect better service.  They charge my credit card minutes after the purchase.  The last 2 items I returned had the same issue.   More than 2 weeks after receiving the "Your return is on it's way to QVC..." email, with no action, I finally requested the status of the return.  It showed up no where in my account.  (I used chat)  Same response each issue:  We just got your return and the refund is being processed and you will see it in your account in 2-3 days.

Really?  I'm beginning to suspect that, if I hadn't asked, there was no refund being processed.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

I recently returned a item (didn't use their label) and it took 2wks for processing....I started getting concerned they were gonna say they didn't get it!  I had tracking that they had it for 10days or so....but you just never know.  Finally today they posted it as returned.  I think most company's are slow to issue returns but quick to take your $$'s!!

It is excessively slow. Amazon will issue a refund to my  card immediately upon receipt of a return, usually within one day of my sending it, and sometimes immediately, upon initiation of complaint.

I found I got my credit for returns quicker if I stated I wanted my refund as a credit on my account.   I don't have to wait for the credit to be sent elsewhere and thus lose time processing on both ends.   It shows on my QVC account and is used against my next purchase.  I know I will be buying something in a short time.

HSN & Evine aremuch faster with refunds in my experience. Qvc is very, very slow.

It's odd that your "return is on its way" notification comes so late.  I normally use the QVC return label and drop the package at my local post office.  The PO apparently notifies QVC that day because I always get a notice from QVC the following day that my return is on its way.  I don't think 2-3 days after they receive the returned merchandise is unreasonable.  Some places I've dealt with say it could take as much as one or two billing cycles for the refund to post.

Amazon is just the best, as far as customer service.  I've been STILL on the phone with them about something I needed to return and got the email about my return and my credit.   That's just above and beyond.

One thing you will find with QVC returns, in the case that you use their return label is that it's a sort of bulk-ship deal so it takes exponentially longer.  That's just the nature of that type of shipping, but it is a lot cheaper, on their end, to use that service.
