Google 66 year old Greta Pontarelli!! She started pole dancing(Ariel dancing) at 59. The link posted has been wonky.
Im going to make this a goal for myself. I need t lose 60 lbs first, but then I'm going to take a class and learn how to strengthen my core like that!!

She is truly an inspiration!

Bless her heart, she looks like she has kept her gray hair. She has a bod most 20 year olds would envy.

And she compete against some of them too! The video I saw was just her in the studio wearing a sports bra and shorts. She had a purple scarf tucked in the straps of the sports bra and she looked so graceful!!

She is incredibly fit and built great for her age, but even at a distance I could tell she was no kid. At 66 you don't look or even move like you did at 45 let alone 20, that being said, more power to her and hopefully many years of pole dancing ahead of her.

Love her! Just watched an interview with Steve Harvey and she told him she started when she was 59 when she was diagnosed with osteopenia. She decided on pole dance when she was researching non-drug ways to stave off osteoporosis, which she said ran in her family.
A very positive woman with an even more positive message for women who think they just have to accept the deterioration of their bodies as they age.
Good for Greta!

She said the first time she tried pole dancing, the instructor was surprised to see her come back because she couldn't do the exercises at first.

Well, it doesn't look like something you could just do without a lot of practice, does it?
Especially if you don't have a gymnastic/dance background.
