I would too.  Not at a regular restaurant, but fast food?  Yes.

They have to clean constantly because people tend to eat in a hurry and rush out, there are lots of young kids and groups of teens, and there's a huge turnover. And lots of fast food and everything that goes along with it is messy - straws that have been in milkshakes left on tables, used ketchup packets, burger wrappers, stray fries, etc.

If they didn't clean, people would complain about that too!  They can't wait until the end of the day.  It would look like a garbage dump by then, so they have to clean many times throughout the day.  That's just the nature of fast food places.

Of course they have to clean, I understand that. I'm just saying if I'm sitting at a table eating I don't want them sweeping right at my feet , the dirt & dust flying everywhere. They can wait & sweep my area after I leave. Sweep elsewhere for now. Just common sense.

I like it when they touch the money and get you an ice cream cone  One place they wore gloves, but it's the same thing. They touched the money and the sandwich wearing the same ones.

One of my nieces will tell them to change the gloves if they have touched the money before she gets her food.

I love it when they change the "garbage & plate dump area" bag during customer hours.  Five feet from our booth, the noise & commotion for performing a simple chore is astounding.  (Please, no Sheezzz remarks).

It honestly doesn't bother me.  I'd much rather them keep the establishment clean than leave a mess on the tables and floors.  I believe there are probably ways to improve the cleaning, such as using wipes rather than sprays etc., , but I'd rather it be clean so I put up with the minor annoyance.

Unless we go out of town or someone has a special event we rarely eat out anymore.  From childhood on (drove  my parents nuts) I just could not stand to see anything dirty or out of place.  And I don't trust how clean the restaurant is in the kitchen or how the food is prepared.

They should use disposable wipes. I cringe when I see that gross towel wiping seats then the tables.

We go out a lot and not to fast food places.  This happens to us all the time and is one my husband's major pet peeves.  We just nicely tell the employee he has terrible allergies and you really don't want to hear him sneeze.  The sweeper doesn't bother me at all compared to screaming kids.

This has always been one of my pet peeves. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean they aren't "kidding up" all kinds of stuff into the air. Woman Mad Fortunately for me, I seldom eat out. I enjoy preparing meals and eating at home.

I hate fast food places and avoid them. At least the one where you “dine,” if one can call it that, is, apparently being cleaned!

I have to agree!  ......You get what you pay for.  If you want quality & good service then go to a real restaurant.
