I absolutely love the cheesecakes from my local Walmart bakery. They are delicious! You buy it by the slice or the whole cake and sampler cakes, too! This one is less than $14:

I bought that at WM once...never again. DH and I don't think it even comes close to Juniors in taste and texture. You get what you pay for. Everyone is different. Like you, I use coupons most of the time when it comes to everything Smiley Happy

I make box mix cakes and homemade cakes all year. Every once in awhile it's nice to get a special cake already made, and especially in flavors I don't usually make at home.

I buy the Jr's 18 mini cheese cakes twice a year. This time I just went on auto delivery...just love them. Nice to have on hand for special treats for desserts for DH and I.

Last week I ordered the British cupcakes (hold onto your chair)...12 cupcakes for $47.56...for my B-Day next month. DH and I can't wait to try them...such unique flavor combos...such fun!

We also indulged in Emeril's crab cakes on A-D this year...YUM!!!

Everything else is bought with coupons matched with sales at our local grocery stores or WM. No harm in enjoying special treats once in awhile. We are only on this earth so long...splurging can be a good thing Smiley Very Happy

wow.....i had not seen those before! they looked good. i may have to break down and order some.

we have gourmet cupcake stores in the area that generally charge about $3-$4 a cupcake, so the cost is pretty reasonable. thanks for mentioning these.

@sunshine45  If you have time, watch the video. I am real excited to try the cupcake with Earl Grey tea frosting Smiley Very Happy

I could buy our entire Thanksgiving meal...including dessert and a few extras...for less than that.

How many does it serve?  I might pay that much but I'd get it from a local bakery.

@Daisy Sunflower  Same here...

I already have the coupons and circulars ready to go to WM tomorrow. Most items I will be price matching with coupons.

I'll be getting a Butterball turkey breast on sale too at a grocery store which DH will be smoking in our portable Masterbuilt smoker. I will even be able to get our fave white wine on sale!

As for dessert, it's homemade pecan pie I'll be making and DH will be making the homemade vanilla bean ice cream Smiley Happy

[ Edited ]

Apple cake???  I wouldn't pay that kind of $$ for that, I'm not much of a cooked apple fan.  Certain Sweet Endings desserts I have paid close to that price, we thought they were fantastic.

But ladies -- I can't have cheesecake or crab cakes, you are killing me here.  haha

Having just looked at the product, my DH would go for that in a heartbeat.  He is over the moon with apple pie, but I would have to dr. it up with a struesel topping.  At that price, I shouldn't have to dr. anything up on that product.

@DiAnne Perhaps where you live/shop but certainly not an average price around the country.

That sounds good! Enjoy!

How do you like the smoker? Does it make a big difference in taste?

@Daisy Sunflower  The smoker is amazing! DH is thrilled with it...so much easier than all the hard work he put into smoking with our old Weber grill!

The next time we use it I want to add a container of homemade mac and cheese Smiley Very Happy
