Really, that price thing again....lol  $60 for a cake might not work for you but obviously it does for whole lot of other people.   Especially for the holidays.

For all the trouble, "real ingredients" (butter that is full flavor, organic spices), and excellent presentation they can demand it.

I know you can make a cake for a few bucks, but sometime you just want to splurge...

Just tuned in to apple pie presentation.  Is that Adina that used to sell David Cookies on the southern shopping channel?

 

I thought I recognized that voice...

 

And yes, YIKES, for a $60 apple pie.  My daughter makes her own apple pies for the holidays.   I wonder how many she could make for $60.

I have paid that much at a local bakery.  It is also almost that much for the Kahlua Cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.
