I was so sorry to hear of this setback, esp. after all he has been through already.  Sending prayers for complete recovery.

This is so true. My MIL is adjusting to her new prosthetic after having her leg amputated as a result of an infection stemming from knee replacement surgery.  She was in and out of the hospital for nearly two years after the initial surgery to fight infeciton.  The good thing is that the infection in her leg had not spread in her body.

Prayers for Rep Scalise, his family and medical team at this time.
