We never had a store but we got the stamps from the grocery store and also the red plaid ones and we saved and saved them and sent away for some really great things!

@RedTop Thank you so much for the mention of Top Value stamps Woman Happy It's so funny to see this topic being mentioned, friends and I were just discussing this a few days ago.  We could remember S & H Green stamps and Plaid stamps but no one could remember the name of Top Value stamps.

Yes, I remember the S&H Green Stemps redemption centers.

I especially remember the Blue Chip Stamp redemption stores.  A guy I knew as a young teen would take us gals to the bowling alley to bowl for blue chip stamps.  We had the fun and his mom would get the stamps.

I also remember and got some things from the Betty Crocker points that I'd save up and mail in.  I miss that one.

@Puzzle Piece   As far back as the late 1970's I started collecting all of those box top points on Betty Crocker and General Mills products. The more points that you had the cheaper the items were. I got an entire set complete with all of the serving pieces of Oneida Beethoven silverplate flatware. Also started collecting Fiestaware for my daughter and a set of Oneida stainless for her. We both still have all of these pieces.

@Kachina624   I still have two small lamps that my Mother got at that store, may have other items of hers that were bought there, but I don't know.

I had to google this.  I don't remember this at all.  I had no idea there were stores. I assumed you would mail them.  I guess I associated them to the mail to begin with, LOL.  When you redeemed them, were the stuff tacky or good quality?   I find it hard to believe they offered you stamps to collect and redeem.

Yes, and Blue Stamps as well. My Mom would let us paste them in the books at the kitchen table. I remember there were stray ones in the junk drawer for years.🤣 Stores don't give premiums like that anymore. Remember when we saved box tops and sent them in for products? I still have my Daisy Donut Maker I got that way, it was a tradition for my children to make their own donuts and ice and decorate them while watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade. I still use my Kraft American Cheese singles storage container and Premium Saltine Crackers storage tin that were "premiums." They must be well over 40 years old!
