This is simple compared to the dreaded car clock.

That's what I'll feel like doing to my old stove when the new one is installed and working.

Re: Are All Clocks Now Set?

[ Edited ]

Fortunately my car clock updates itself and I don't have to mess with it. It can get a little iffy when I get close to the edge of a time zone but that's pretty rare.

I only have 2 clocks that I have to update manually and I took care of those before I went to bed.

A couple of years ago, I had a flight cancellation that resulted in me couch surfing at my aunt's house for the night. I woke up shortly after 2 AM on time change day to the sound of my uncle punching buttons on the microwave like he was ET trying to phone home. After 15 minutes of that I staggered into the kitchen, fixed it myself, and told him to go to bed.

It was an expensive day for me.   I dropped the oversized wall clock changing the time and it shattered.   Had to replace it.

LOLOL!

Car clock is done. It's just been the last few years that I've been able to change that on the 1st attempt.

Office wall clock is done.

Five Google homes with screens change themselves.

Smartwatch changed itself.

I've yet to change the microwave and oven.

Funny meme. I thought this was Standard Time.

@CoffeeNut

Oh no!  I know it was expensive but I hope it wasn't sentimental and/or a much loved clock.

We have one big wall clock that's a pain in the neck to take down, adjust, and rehang.  Consequently, the time is only correct part of the year because we're on or off DST (whichever one is the wrong time), or the battery loses power and the clock slows down. Replacing the battery, fixing the time, and getting it back up is a job for this week.  The only reason is because we're having company next Sunday.  🤷‍♀️. Big wall clocks were a decorative thing at one time, but we should probably get rid of it.

The clock in my car is so ridiculous to try and reset - so I leave as it is and just remember it's one hour faster than it should be -

However, when Spring comes in 2025 I'll be right on schedule!
