it is a bladeless fan/heater for cooling or heating.....it is NOT a vacuum.

has great reviews.

Duh. We were talking about the dgd on brand. I used my vacuum as an example.

I bought one of these two years ago.  The thing is as loud as a jet engine.  I would have returned it, but I never took it out of the package until last year (I tucked it away and forgot about it!).  The heater works great; it's just very loud.  The fan is horrible; you can barely feel it when it's on.

Understood....but the fact that it's another Dyson product....it's just overkill already.

Recall Alert

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 1, 2014

Dyson recalling all AM04 and AM05 Heaters

Dyson is voluntarily recalling all AM04 and AM05 heaters. Of a million heaters sold worldwide, Dyson knows of 82 machines that have short-circuited, including four reports of heaters with burned and melted internal parts. There have been no instances of injury or property damage, but safety is Dyson's priority. It is therefore recalling all machines and implementing an engineering fix in each one.

Visit dysonrecall.com to register your Dyson heater for the fix.

Thanks @truffle.

Maybe you should post a separate thread with this warning.

Very dangerous!
