I was talking to my mother and she was telling me how they quarantined people back when she was little.  They put signs on  the door of your house so everyone would know. 

My mother had scarlet fever as a young child.  Penicillin had just come out.  It saved her life.  Down through the years, she remembers her father saying how expensive it was.  She is 90 now....so you see, there is hope.
