That's the way I understood it, too. The old posts will remain in the archives, and you can look them up, if you like.
And you can continue on with your regular chats with the people you chat with here...you just start again on Jan. 1. I honestly think QVC is being very accommodating. Don't know what the problem is?

The problem is they didn't explain it very well. Also they say they are harmless so why close comment on them at all?
It seems as though they will remain although closed comment. But that is not a certainty according to the wording. Sometimes they remove closed comment threads after a period of time.
If they are trying to accommodate posters who don't like long standing threads, this won't be acco
mplished because the long standing threads will be able to be restarted.

It was poorly written in the survey update. You deciphered and summed it up nicely here, September. I don't get what the problem is either, BTW.

scottie, thanks for posting the link to the community forum thread. I just posted two comments about what we've been discussing here - the long-standing threads and how they're going to handle deleting inappropriate posts...that's so subjective.
Maybe if enough people go there and give their opinions, especially those of us who weren't able to do the survey or didn't know about it, maybe it will get us some answers.

You are welcome. Some clarification would be helpful for sure!

No different than the posters who brag about constantly buying new furniture, painting, redecorating. Talk about ego! And of course they have the best taste in the world when it comes to home décor. The "it's all about me" does get sickening.
I agree with you RN.
There are threads started by people because they are suffering, worrying, hoping. Nothing about egos. What harm is that if it's the same thread that posters respond to?
Then there's the other threads you mention, blah blah blah blah blah blah........

I don't know if it helps clarify, but here's the question which was asked in the survey/poll on this topic:

You're welcome, Q_spirit! As I said, I thought it might be helpful for those who didn't have the chance to participate in the original surveys.
