The man almost always has the advantage of physical force over the woman - the "upper hand".
There's a reason why decent adults teach young boys to never hit a girl, no matter what.
I'd never have anything to do with any man who thinks it's OK to hit a woman under any circumstances. I would never defend such a thing or make excuses for it.
Totally agree with everything you said!

I didn't see anyone really disagreeing with this point of view, but Rice's reinstatement has nothing to do with his crime. The NFL knew about his crime and chose a punishment and then they punished him again for the same offense, lying about what they knew in the first place.
All my middle school kids can spout the laws on double jeopardy. You'd think the bigwigs at the NFL would know them, too.

Where we went they had a different version with pancetta and no cider. They were very good too.
Yes! I left you a message in another thread, I guess you didn't see it! It is def a keeper. I love the cider. It was really great. We eat brussel sprouts a couple of times a week and we will be using this recipe at least once a week! Thanks so much.

Missed her or ignored her. Either way.
Change my first sentence to "The vast majority agree that....."

If the NFL is OK w/ it, Godspeed.
If the new team he signs w/ is OK w/ it, Godspeed.
If fan base of 80,000 filling the stadium is OK w/ it, Godspeed.
If the victim, his then GF now his WIFE, is OK w/ it, Godspeed.
The only people who's panties are a twist about all this, don't really matter within the above-mentioned equation.

double jeopardy only applies to a decision made in a Court of Law. Not to the business world.

AMEN!
It's all been said here just in various ways. We all get it ~ domestic violence is terrible and thank goodness laws have changed and there are so many social services and non-profits to help victims of abuse be it female or male.

Now that they aren't cooked to death they are so good.
You're so good to eat them that often. Can your tummy take it?

Yes, right now I am only supposed to stay away from raw fruits and veggies (though I have snuck a few, it is too hard not too) but I can eat all the cooked I want. Brussel sprouts, sauteed spinach and most roasted veggies are my favorite. I usually have at least 2 serving of veggies at every meal. A lot of nights, I skip meat because I just prefer the veggies more.
