I hope the customer from hell isn't planning to visit NYC anytime soon. A mere $2 increase on a service would seem like a birthday present.

Added to that are the clients who want the impossible. They bring a picture and expect their stylist to magically turn their sparse hair into thick and just like the picture.

It makes me glad I can cut my own hair! They lady won't be happy elsewhere. I feel sorry for the hairdresser!

$2 is probably not about money

Wow, I would bend down and kiss her feet. That is a pittance compared to some stylists raises. My stylist has gotten to the over $180 limit, but I get color, cut and highlights. I would not spend one penny on anyone else. I feel if you like what you get, you pay for it. I wonder if that lady? goes to the grocery store.

Really? Really? Two dollars? Has this woman been to the grocery store lately? What else can she do for two dollars? I worked with the public for 42 years, so you know I like people. But people like this entitled *itch makes me hate people. Any profession where you stand on your feet all day is not easy. So I think it's time for that client to go elsewhere. JMO❤️

@luvmybeetle , That's just it, her service is a bargain and when your costs go up increase are inevitable.

Going to a grocery store has gotten so expensive, I feel I should dress in business professional and speak in hushed tones.

Your poor hair stylist! Apparently this customer had no shame over making such a scene over a mere $2.00. A few years ago my stylist increased her rates by $5.00 for the services that I receive and she was apologizing to all of her customers. She hadn't raised them in years and even her husband told her that she shouldn't feel that way because all businesses raise their rates at some time due to costs of supplies and just to continue to be able to make a small profit.
Even at the increased rate my hair stylist is still well below what a good many shops in my area charge.
I couldn't even imagine acting like that customer. I would be so embarrassed. If that mere amount is enough to make her behave that way then she needs to find a new stylist but good luck finding one because most likely they will charge more than she is paying now.

Yep, I can believe it, and it's usually the ones with the most money that expect everything for nothing. Cheap rich people! Glad to hear she told her how it is and how it's going to be and if ya don't like it, don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out! She is definatley better without her, problem is she will probably never leave! LOL
