A couple terrific film roles I really enjoyed:

The little known Girls Just Want to Have Fun, 1985 (it stars Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica Parker early in their careers) and the teen dark comedy Heathers, 1989.

I'm waiting for all those who worked with her and griped about and bad mouthed her to come forward with fake tears and talk about how good she was to be around, how they prayed for her when she became ill, how they (supposedly) stayed in touch.

Hypocrites will crawl out of the woodwork now.

I didn't start watching 90210 until in my late 40s (DH didn't watch it). I realize she had some problems on set  but many of her co-workers, not all, really bad mouthed her for *years*.

I watched that show, too.

I knew of her but never watched any of her work but I remember reading about her cancer journey and extreme perseverance over the years.

I had just seen an interview she did about a month ago. She was so young; only 52. RIP
