I'm going to tune in but they have been all over the news the last couple of days, almost warning us, that the event will be rather low key relative to what it has been in the past.

They have almost made it seem not worth tuning in for.

I have cleared the decks, ready to watch it all.  I love the olympics.  I like looking at what the atheletes are wearing as they march in (for over an hour).  Bermuda always in their shorts, I like to see which country is the best dressed.  I love the olympic theme music, I was listening to the radio this morning and when it came on I was almost giddy.  The one draw back for me is somethimes Bob Costas and crew won't shut up.

Thanks for the tip on the on demand channel, I remember last Olynpics I discovered handball, on maybe NBC sports channel, and couldn't get enough of it.

I will be keeping you all company; at least until I fall asleep.  I love to watch these events and usually watch as much of the sports events as possible.  Haven't seen the schedule yet though.

I'll be watching....just waiting on it to start.  I, too, have heard for awhile now that the opening ceremonies will be great but not spectacular like most others.  I've heard conditions in the athlete dorms are not too swift either.

Will be watching.

I don't think no country can match China's opening ceremony.

I'll be watching!  I love the opening ceremony and watching all of the events.  The athletes are amazing.  I especially love the women's gymnastics.  Wish I was as nimble as they are!  I don't know how they can do some of those jumps on the balance beam and not fall off!
