I am sure you are right.  I actually ordered the DVD of those openings from NBC Sports.

I so wish the very best for all of our (and to be honest any country's athletes) but also so hope that the games will be successful without controversy.  These young people have trained hard and long to get here, good thoughts and prayers that they are successful!

I am so excited!

I had forgotten how many commercials there are though.

I was in the bathroom rushing and when I got back I saw about 1 minute of the beginning then they cut to a commercial.

I so wish all of them the best.  These athletes have trained so hard for so long and I so don't want the politics that is unfortunately involved with these games to ruin their experience.

Please know I am more than alarmed at the conditions that have been reported on but again I so wish the best for the athletes that have been doing what they do best . . . I so hope these athletes are able to enjoy the Olympics that they so deserve.

Sometimes the opening ceremonies scare me a little.

The designs and things they make on the floor are amazing!
