If the deal was for bottomless PLAIN burger patties, DH and I would be interested.

We don't want the bottomless, cheap carbs full of sugars/seed oils/grains.

We don't eat out much anymore. Restaurants charge for the full meal when one only wants the meat. Cracker Barrel is a great example.

Shameful IMO...

Hi @Susan Louise   You can probably eat around, & skip the Hamburger Bun.   When I was r/o Celiac Sprue, I would take a bite of the burger & Veggie, but no Bun.  Id use the bun to hold the burger/veggies together, & peel off small pieces of the bun just ahead of the next bite of burger/veggie.

@JoyFilled Warrior One of your other posts is now gone I was responding to. You asked about me eating just meat...

I live the carnivore lifestyle. I have posted many times about it.

The only carbs I ingest comes from seafood and eggs. I eat meat/eggs seafood and will add butter/bacon fat for cooking. The only 'plants' I injest comes from black coffee and garlic (on occasions I fix garlic butter shrimp or scallops).

DH is ketovore...he will have a couple of salads a week. The other 5 days he is carnovore. He is able to tolerate more carbs than I can.

Re: RED ROBIN BURGER DEAL

[ Edited ]

I'm in California.  We had one open up 13 years ago near us. My granddaughters first job, and they paid good. They trained well, as she was the first crew to open the place. Tips were good, it was busy, busy and fun. Diets have changed so much. I don't eat meat, yuck, ptuii, ..but the burgers look good. But I keep my distance.   They had turkey burgers and chicken burgers, and a vegan patty at ours. The vegan patty was good, not frozen type. Just too much salt for me.   The real seller was the onion rings. Omg, best in the country besides outback. lol. Is there still an Outback??

it costs so much to do a family day today. Especially families with younger kids.  To go to the movies and out to eat is going to run 160 or so for a family of 4-5. Movies here are nearly 20 bux a ticket.   I am of the 25 cent, matinee , two features , cartoons, newsreel popcorn

@elated   My local paper said they will be available at 12 noon at my time.

I suppose they weren't correct.

@Carmie  This is what the article states:

The passes are in celebration of National Burger Month and will be redeemable for one gourmet burger of choice and a bottomless side every day in May, according to a news release. They'll be available for purchase for $20 starting on Thursday, April 17 at 11 a.m. EST on Red Robin's National Burger Month Webpage.

Your article is correct.  The one I read written by a local employee of our newspaper (on line) had listed the incorrect time and even the date.  I had to click and go to the RR website for the correct info.

Are you serious?  It's a promotion to hopefully increase traffic.

Of course she means is there a limit on the number a person can buy. Can she buy two, one for her husband and one for herself or is it limited to just one?
