My thought s this: the answer as to "why" is not known to us nor will it ever be.
ie: "why" is such and such brand not sold here? There will not be an answer given

@Moonchilde@Then to keep it fair it should be all or none...my opinion!

I don't disagree with you.

To be clear, are we saying religion, politics and other topics that may cause a heated discussion should not be allowed on the boards?
Are we also saying that all religious items and anything controversial should not be sold and/or discussed by hosts on air?

@Moonchilde I'm sure plenty of those vacuum cleaners don't sell, but they are still in inventory and offered in shows.

@Shanus Yes...keep it neat and tidy or you leave the impression that what makes money is more important than standards.

@dex. Standards more important than sales for sure. Replying to person that said all religions not represented on air because they didn't sell. What difference does that make?

"We" ;-) are disagreeing. Politics and religion are specifically decreed no-nos in the official Community Standards, as are (more nonspecifically) topics which USUALLY cause a heated discussion. Threads about baby bunnies and daisies *can* get heated (and probably have). Most people agree that these topics should not be allowed; some people think the forums should be "anything goes" with no moderation and anything can be discussed.
Some posters feel that if there can't be religious discussion on the forums, no religious items should be sold, period. Some posters feel that hosts and vendors should not be speaking on-air about their religious beliefs, that it has no place on-air from salespeople (who may well not be selling a religious item at the time), just expressing personal beliefs. For some posters, the more religion anywhere and everywhere, the better.
There will never be anything close to a true concensus on any of it.

@Shanus M comment was directed to the sales decisions... an answer to your post and not a jab at you... yikes sorry that I didn't word it well.
