I've been thinking about the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Two atomic bombs detonated and devastated two cities.
Both cities were rebuilt, but what happened to all the radiation? Were there radioactive clouds that spread around the earth? Isn't the radiation still in the ground? I was under the impression that radiation of that magnitude would last for hundreds of years, but both cities were rebuilt and have huge populations.
Does radiation completely dissipate? Just wondering.....
