Anyone interested in this case should listen to Maggie Murdaugh's 911 call when their housekeeper died on their property~~~worthy of discussion.

They didn't seem to be concerned -- esp. Maggie. I wonder what really happened.

Both Maggie and Paul Murtaugh were on the 911 call.

Yes they were and some say Alex can be heard in the back ground.

Re: Question about Alex Murdaugh

Did anyone see ****** Harpootlian on the senate floor whining about getting mean emails?

Is this even allowed?

I thought he said he keeps his state's senate job completely separate from his being a defense attorney?

I had not heard that, but it is curious as to why dogs who were used to being around Goria would suddenly cause her to fall down the stairs. There is also speculation that she may have found the drug stash.

This gets curiouser and curiouser doesn't it? If the plan of exhumation is still going forward, my fear is the autopsy will show she was murdered.

Re: Quest about Alex Murdaugh

With the preplanning and great lengths he went to lie about where he was, etc it doesn't sound like he didn't know what he was doing. He knew exactly what he was doing. I am glad he is locked up away from society now; he is truly a danger to society. Sounds ike his family;s suspsicious deaths date all the wat back to 1930 when a great grandfather died in a train collision....but was he already dead when the train hit the car? Some reporters are eagerly sanning old newspapers for the details. The Murdaugh family history of crimes and suspicious deaths seems to be turning into its own cottage industry.

@Cheeky14, I agree. The entire family's dirty linen will be examined with a fine tooth comb. Rightfully so. They no longer posses the clout they once had.

I hadn't read anything about the great grandfather's death. I wonder if he was the same one who gained his fortune as a bootlegger.

I know many wondered about motive.

I read a South Carolina newspaper reported a Charleston attorney stated that Maggie had scheduled an appointment  to discuss divorce options. She never made it to the appointment.

Maggie's manicurist also told Court TV that she was seeking a divorce.

Yes, the common conclusion among professionals is that is by far the most dangerous time in a women's life~~~when she decides to leave.

Re: Quest about Alex Murdaugh

But often that's because of an emotional attachment. I think this was all about Alex not wanting his finances exposed.
