I would bet Adam does a great job but I really do wish I would have had the chance to have seen the late, great Freddie Mercury.  What a voice and talent!

But, at least I did see Elvis Presley live.

I saw the show 2 summers ago - twice in fact!- and loved it. So much so - I'm taking my daughter to the show in Philadelphia  this weekend! Woman Very Happy Love Queen, love Adam Lambert!   I never saw Freddie 'live' unfortunately.

We will be at the show Sunday night too.

I think Adam Lambert is one of the most, if not THE most, talented artists to ever appeared on AI.

@faeriemoon~~~To me, he was THE most talented ever to grace the stage of AI. I like "fair" in life and to me, that decision was based on something else, not his singing ability. He should have won that hands down, which is why I stopped watching AI after that.

Most people agree not winning AI as better for Adam Lambert's career.

Not too many winners are multi-millionaires.

While I do not disagree with the talent of Lambert and the fact he is a great showman, I still feel no one can replace Freddie Mercury's style and voice.  I feel the same about many singers who have passed, Geoge Michael being one of them.

With that being said I am sure Lambert and Queen will draws audiences and carry forth the great music as well as their own originals. I am glad they were able to continue on and still wow audiences.

Adam always tells the audience that he is not trying to take Freddie's place, and that the fabulous music will endure no matter what. He is honored to sing it to old and new generations. My neighbor girl who is nineteen, loves Adam and also loves Queen. Her parents were Queen fans, and the program Glee did a tribute to Queen. She loved the music from day one. I bought tickets for both of us for her birthday. When I couldn't go, I gave my ticket to her mom. They facetimed me from the concert and told me it was fabulous. According to Brian and Roger, Freddie would have been blown away by Adam's vocal range and showmanship. And you mention George Michael: Aw, what a tragic loss. I saw George Michael's Faith tour. He too was such a talent and delivered a fabulous one man show. It was amazing.

@Annabell. The pix were taken at the Denver show.

Last year on his tour he actually met us all at his bus, spent a lot of time w the fans, signed stuff and took pix. It was about 20 degrees too and 1 am.  I asked if I could take his pix and he said.  Of course you can!!!   Soooooooooooo nice!!!  He was very sweet to everyone!!

Awesome show! Where were you sitting? I was close to the stage maybe 10 rows back- on the Brian May side.

I was glad to read this thread beforehand- and was 'prepared' for the  delayed start time!!!
