Having been with QVC since it changed from CVN in the 80"s, I have spent TONS of $$$ here. but I know that times change and so does the way businesses change to make sure their shareholders and the bottom line are taken care of---that being said--I have not spent much money here for years and hardly watch anymore. Have to say--I don't care what QVC does and probably will never be as involved with it now that these boards are being removed------will move on, save a boatload of time, $$ and aggravation. I feel kind of sorry for the hosts that have been there the longest---probably will be hard to swallow for them. Couldn't believe that Mary Beth said she had been at the Q for 35 years---I watched her when she was preggers with baby #1. Am sure most the old timers will be gone shortly----

@wagirl I remember those days. I shopped a lot and will continue shopping here and HSN. I'm mostly into kitchen stuff and bought a few clothing items. I don't buy clothing anymore because I don't like what I see. I haven't watch in years but I check things out on line.

QVC's prices are way out of line with other retailers.

Last week I bought a battery organizer on Amazon for $20 w/ free shipping.

The same item on QVC is $41.56, but now Black Friday sale priced for only $34.63 plus $5.50 shipping.

THAT's $20 more!!

Very true! I have purchased items based on info I saw on these forums....recommendations and comments about the fabric, etc. have found so much helpful info here over the years about lots of things.....it really has been a community and it is sad that Q thinks it is no longer important. FB is NOT the same as the forums. I am certain this move will lose some sales for Q....but not enough for it to matter.

Trying to be Number One has made them continue to fail. That's okay there a stores,company's and small businesses out there that have modeled themselves after the old Q. Most of my shopping is done at those stores now
