Doing the right thing would have meant Qvc not making this error in the first place. It's their fault and they should pay for the inconvenience. It has happened to me more than once as well as to other customers.

It's a big company...stuff happens. So don't buy there if you expect perfection...sheesh.
But to even contemplate keeping something that you didn't pay for is cheating and wrong...just because you are inconvenienced. double sheesh

Qvc has in fact given me professional courtesies for their mistakes. I wouldn't have mentioned it, if I hadn't had first hand experience.
