There's no credit card info or membership number on the invoice. All companies make at least a few shipping mistakes. Considering the millions of packages they ship, I think they do pretty well.kathypet....this isn't the first time Qvc has created a security breach by their sheer carelessness and stupidity. You did nothing wrong so I'd just leave it alone and hope that whoever got your information doesn't use it for illicit purposes.
Many, many people should just flat out get fired from Qvc. You don't see Amazon, HSN, or Zappos to name a few have that type of breach and yes it has happened to me on Qvc but on no other website and I do a lot of shopping.

It's a security breach in that Qvc gave a complete stranger her name and address and until recently the complete member number which thankfully they now block out except for the last 4 digits. When it has happened to me, they got my member number and you better believe I called Qvc and raised heck.

I think they do pretty well too. But in this day and age, pretty well isn't good enough. I do think that they are at least trying to beef up security. And they do have amazing customer service with great reps.

The Q sent a rug (a huge rug) to me that was meant for someone else. The name and address label were correct but the receipt in the rug had another persons name. I called CS and the rep told me to keep it. That surprised me. I told her I couldn't do that and I wanted someone to come and pick it up because it weighed a ton. She sighed and emailed a shipping label to me and arranged for UPS to pick it up.
Call CS and they will take care of it.

I had that happen to me too Gato. A garment that belonged to someone else was sent to me with their name and address on the receipt which was out of state and my name and address on the shipping label. CS also told me to keep it. What in the world was I going to do with a garment that was not my size? Very stupid.

------...a big heavy rug! Yes, I would insist that someone come take that away, if I didn't want it. Where I live, if we want our trash service to pick up something that doesn't fit into our tiny little containers, we have to pay an extra fee.
One time, I got two enormous dog beds (think it was from Lands End) that were sent to me in error, and they wanted me to keep them. No.....it will cost me $$$ to dispose of these things. They arranged to pick them up.

All they are going to,have is my call saying they credited me and shouldn't have and some unknown person saying they returned the same item and did not receive a credit. how are they going to connect these two separate incidents?
The woman who didn't get the credit will call them and complain. Plus no one knows if there are more customers involved. Just because you got her receipt doesn't necessarily mean she got yours.

True. Who knows how many orders were messed up.
