I love QVC's programming for Chrismtas!  So entertaining.  Much better than the other shopping channel that pre records pitching products all day!

Maybe, but their lead up to Christmas is absolutely dismal...

@cddhI really had no intention of watching either of the main shopping channels, but I tuned into QVC during a commercial elsewhere and got hooked on Meredith's cooking displays.  I don't even cook all that much, and I couldn't stay away -  so low-key and so informative. 

Just out of curiosity I switched once to HSN -  shrill and it felt not at all holiday related, at least not what I saw.

Yeah, I just happened to scroll over to QVC as well and ended up staying as long as blue jean chef was on.  She is great!  I wonder how long it took her to do all of those videos.  Very informative.

I don't compare, each channel is doing it's own thing. QVC has Blue Jean Chef videos on right now & HSN has a pre-recorded Christmas Show featuring clearance items &  bloopers. Watching because we had to postpone our family Christmas dinner because the weather & roads are miserable. Still need to get out & shovel before it's in single digits, a few hours of doing that isn't what I wanted to do today.....oh well time to get bundled up & give my new helper handle shovel from QVC a go. Wishing All a Merry Christmas.

They're running a non-stop video of Meredith cooking on our local CBS station.  She's not selling anything.  Great helpful hints.

I wouldn't know.  I don't watch Qvc or any other shopping channel on Christmas Day.  I don't need to be entertained by a shopping channel and after all that shopping and wrapping and gift giving and opening....watching "stuff" is that last thing I want to do on Christmas or even the day after Christmas.  However, it's nice that Qvc shows something for those who do watch.

I have checked in frequently and have really enjoyed seeing Meredith.  But most of the time whenever  have checked in it’s been that damned parade.
