Since they are "sister" stations and HSN seems to do a better job with shipping, reviews and measurements, why doesn't QVC just adopt HSN's systems, i.e, computer, shipping etc.???

I ordered items from both HSN and QVC on Monday.  HSN's is on the way; got a message from QVC saying the item has been "delayed" no reason given.  What's the problem???

ITA, I have never had issues with HSN shipping.  I think QVC was better when they were competitors with HSN, now it seems like they don't care anymore.

I like HSN better, also.   Faster shipping. All goes back to whoever is in charge of running different areas.  More organized, better work ethic, etc.

I would like to add that the customer service reps at HSN I have interacted with are extremely professional and pleasant.

Remember when QVC was the class act of home shopping and HSN was the bargain basement looking one with the stupid Tootie honking horn?

To compare QVC with HSN is like comparing apples and oranges.  QVC is much larger and has thousands more items in inventory.  The new Bethlehem warehouse is said to be the largest in Pennsylvania and it's just one of several.  QVC has a much more complex operation.

It doesn't matter where the station is, it depends on where the item is warehoused.

Many items are "drop shipped" from another location.

My pkgs spend 3 days going from UPS to USPS!

I get my items from HSN within a week after ordering, but QVC takes a couple of weeks or more. In process forever, where HSN has it out the next day.  Saves me a lot of money, because I usually just order Andrew Lessman from HSN and almost never from QVC.  IMO the host are better on HSN, especially Colleen.

Last night I happen to watch Kirks Follies and the host kept interrupting the vendor when the vendor was explaining the item.  The host was talking about her personal life. Had nothing to do with item.

I've been very pleased with HSN. Better terms, same product lines in some cases, better shipping and no sign in problems!
