@chipmonk cheeks  They are both owned by the same company.

I buy MUCH MUCH MORE from HSN over QVC.  Better selection, faster shipping, better hosts and over all better programing with new products all the time.

QVC is stuck in a rut... boring programing, SLOW AWFUL SHIPPING and  most of the  hosts are all ancient relics that need to retire....

I just looked at the QVC program guide and saw that the program listed for Saturday, February 10 shows a listing of "QVC & HSN" More to Love Weekend".  Wonder what that is about.  Are they now doing joined programming every once in a while?

Colleen Lopez mentioned QVC before Christmas stating that both networks work hard to source the best gems.  This is going to be interesting.

Mindy Grossman remade HSN from the ground up.  They have many fabulous lines there:  Sporto boots, Naturalizer shoes, Iman's jeans, Marla Wynne, Giuliana Rancic, Wendy Williams, Serena Williams, Antthony (wonderful sweater coats), and many more.  They discount heavily while QVC does not.  I love HSN.

And I hope she does the same for Weight Watchers, since she is now the CEO.

I know they're under the same corporate headquarters, but that's true for plenty of other retailers.  For example, I often walk into the Chico's which in the mall a minute from home -  there's a Black and White and a Soma within visual distance of that Chico's -  and I've been in each ONCE during all the many years I've lived in this neighborhood.  Zero interest.

Same for me with HSN, but at least for HSN I sometimes check it during a commercial break elsewhere.  I just see zero reason to stay.  I wouldn't wear anything they sell, I stopped buying jewelry years ago (hope the pieces they sell now are better than the ones I ordered years ago), I don't craft or sew or collect coins, and I don't like Tony LIttle or Emeril.  So  -   I know what's there -  and just as some fear QVC could ruin them, I can't imagine it could get any worse.

In recent times, I've spent far more on HSN.  Better selection.  Better pricing.  Better shipping deals.  Faster shipping times.  Plus, they do wonderful craft shows.  Sorry, QVC, you need to step up to the plate these days.

I like HSN better also, They don't spend all day selling a mattress or pillows, but best of all is the pricing and the different brands on HSN. When they discount, they really discount, free shipping many times. I did hear Andrew Lessman mention more than once last weekend about when he was on QVC. I hope they don't change HSN. They probably need to add some of HSN's charisma to QVC. I also think Colleen Lopez is the best host considering both channels.

Their DG2 jeans (their special):  I like that the waist is a bit higher, but not too high.  Also has a b*tt lifter feature.  I'm surprised that there aren't any DG2 threads in the Fashion section.

Keep in mind that, from what I've heard, the Q owns HSN, (in some capacity) so I'm guessing that it's ok to post.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I see that most people seem to have a strong preference for one or the other. So regardless of who owns them, it seems like a great idea for them to stay as different from each other as they can.
