Kristine never really progressed into an excellent host!! But hate to see Antonella leave...I enjoyed her sense of humor!!
Wonder the status of Nancy, Elise, Sandra, Shawn, the Courtney's, Kerstin, Rachel, Alberti, Jenn, Terri, Ali, Julia and Katrina? Some of these hosts I consider 'no watch ever'; some are still very new, junior hosts and some are long time employee/hosts that still behave and present like they have never been trained!!!
I don't see Leah, Rick, Mary Beth, Dan, Carolyn, Amy, David, Jane, Jayne, Pat, or Mary D leaving...unless it is their choice!
I do hope all the hosts leaving have back up plans. So many moved their families, bought homes and had become established in the QVC area.

Oh, please. She's not doing infommercials. She has her own online shop and a thriving social media following. And if she WAS doing infommericals it woudln't be a comedown. QVC is an infommercial.

You all definitely know that these are "layoffs" or people are being fired? QVC isn't offering buyouts on contracts or early retirement incentives? IOW, voluntary departures?
There are all kinds of ways to end employment, on both sides, but much depends on the way the employee was engaged.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think it was insensitive to make a big deal of a host’s birthday on air with cake and flowers at the same time other hosts are being unceremoniously dismissed? Happy birthday to the birthday girl; I just think maybe it could’ve/should’ve been done behind the scenes.

Could be that some of their contracts are at an end.
Or, sometimes new, lower salaries have been offered.
I recall hearing about similar things happening way back, with other/most companies in around the late 1990's.
'Re-organization' was a popular word.
In fairly desperate times as these, going on right now, nothing is 'for sure'.
This is a real, natural (not man-made) reality, and we can't blame the companies for trying to stay afloat.
Well, we have to / should wish QVC and HSN (including present and departing hosts and employees) good luck during these unfortunate, unstable times.

Seriously people, stop the whining. When my Macy's Estee Lauder sales person left I didn't spend an entire day crying about it. Sheez....should have let Shawn and Amy go. They are awful...and that awful Lori Gold whatever....
It's sales folks, they get let go all the time. Move on get a life off of your couch.

Have there been layoffs at HSN? Wasn’t there a thread here not long ago about that?
