Its sad to see anyone lose a job....and my heart goes out to all those workers....its not the best time to be seeking employment....

But folks, didnt we all see this coming with the cut backs in  live shows and too many hosts and production crew and not enough time slots for them........

It will be interesting to see which other hosts QVC choses to let go..............

And @Spurt which ones they don't...

and now Gabrielle Smiley Sad

I have some news to share with my QVC family. This is not a goodbye but a thank you for your love and support over the past 12 years. You were there for many of life’s big milestones: my wedding, the birth of my babies and so much more.
And although I am leaving QVC I hope that we can stay in touch. Follow my journey on Facebook as

Well the only way the company booms is they bring LR back their cash cow

You know, that's a really tone-deaf thing to say after a bunch of people have lost their jobs.  Read the room.

And keep in mind rumor has it that "LR" was the one who was let go, not the other way around.

Totally not understanding their selections here. There are far worse, more polarizing and ill prepared ones that should have been chosen.

Yep ... but those are the ones they'll keep  ... I can think of one in particular.

Wow! This is awful. Gabrielle was a veteran host and one of the better ones IMO. Although she has been on QVC2 a lot lately. It's a terrible time for so many. All the best to all the hosts and others who we don't know about losing their jobs

Could it be that QVC 2 is being deleted?  I never watched it.  And, I believe there is no longer a Beauty channel.  So now the Q is laying off.  Well, they need to leave the old timers (figure of speech)  alone, I hope.  Some hosts have been with QVC for many years.  I am sure we will find out who got the boot.

I wonder if they are letting go the ones who have low sales numbers?

Which would explain the frenetic sales pitches.

If they don't get people to buy, they're out.

I feel so sad that this is happening although I am not surprised.  I feel these employees will eventually get back on their feet.  I know how distressing this can be though, having gone through this myself years ago.  I will miss Gabrielle and Stacey.  I wonder who the other two hosts are?  Are they taking hosts that appeared on Q2?  It is a sad time for everyone, but things will eventually improve.
