QVC Frazer Outlet........ Anyone Been There Lately?

I don't buy much on QVC anymore, but once or twice a year my daughter, sister and I like to make a day of going to PA, do some shopping, have lunch and stop at the QVC Frazer Outlet.  Last time we were there was in October.  Anyone been there recently?  Are the dressing rooms open now?   What about the Studio Park store?  Has that reopened?  Will be planning a trip in July, so any information you can lend will be appreciated!

Re: QVC Frazer Outlet........ Anyone Been There Lately?

@ciao_bella : I was at that outlet store last month.

In answer to your questions, I do not think Studio Park will ever be open to the public again for security reasons. You can't even enter the parking lot now without an electronic employee tag.

At Frazer, the dressing room is still closed. I wore a tank and leggings under a longer top which I removed and tried on clothes- yes, even a swimsuit- over the base layers.

Prices are good, just not as good as they were in the past. Inventory is somewhat limited. On my visit, best buys were on shoes and swimsuits. Always seasonal decor to be had; not my thing. Lots of clothing to root through- hit or miss.

I still do a half day trip there seasonally. I will be back in the fall and again in November before Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Enjoy your trip if you choose to go. I hope you hit it on a day with good shopping.

@queendiva Thank you for your response.  If the outlet hasn't opened the dressing room by now, I doubt it will ever be opened.  It was a lot of extra work for the employees keeping up with 'tried-on clothing'in the dressing room.

I'm generally not interested in seasonal decor or jewelry either. I have plenty of jewelry and being retired now, I don't wear much jewelry anymore.  Since they closed the dressing room,  like you, my sister and I wear a loose over the head dress with slip shorts underwear underneath.   To try on, the tops/shirts, we just try them on over the top of the dress,  and pants we have no issue pulling them on under the dress since we have the slip-shorts underwear on.  One has to improvise when you travel a distance of an hour and a half to two hours away.   We're from coastal, central NJ.

After this trip in July (we usually go in either June or July) our next trip, like you, will be in October or early November before the holidays.   Who knows, we might be shopping on the same days and not even know it!

After shopping at the outlet (we get there when it first opens), we go to lunch and then head out on our trip home.  If you ever get to stop for lunch when you go to the outlet, just down the road (on Lancaster Ave, (same road the outlet is on)  is a breakfast/lunch restaurant called, "Nudy's Cafe".  They have a wonderful menu and the food is delicous.  You can sit inside or outside on nice days under large umbrella tables.  It's not expense and the food and service is excellent.

Re: QVC Frazer Outlet........ Anyone Been There Lately?

@ciao_bella : I am in west central NJ, near Easton, PA.

The jewelry selection is awful- don't even bother.

Thanks for the dining rec- I generally head straight home after shopping. Like you, I arrive when the outlet opens. I'm retired as well, but can only go on a Saturday morning, when traffic is a lot better.

Best of luck and enjoy your shopping trip!

QVC will close its distribution center in Lancaster County and two others as it streamlines operations following the acquisition of rival home shopping channel HSN, its parent company.

Hope this helps!

hi @meallen616 !

actually, that notice you posted was from 2018 when qvc and hsn were merging into their parent company operations. the distribution center is different than the outlet stores. you are correct though because i just found another post regarding the LANCASTER outlet store closing. Smiley Happy
