Another thread about the subject?  Seriously?

Why am I beginning to suspect one of our common, everyday regular posters is the culprit?  Hummmm.

And w/ all this anticipatory buildup, they must be having a good time.

Just sayin’.

There is nothing that has happened or could happen on these forums that I'm going to get all that worked up about, Christmas Eve trolls included. Close them or don't close them, it really isn't a big deal, but then neither would it be if they left them open and there were the same kinds of crazy posts as last year. My sensibilities aren't such that I'm going to go into a tailspin over whatever is said... I gather it is, but I honestly fail to understand why this is such a big deal for some of us...

Have never been here when "Trolls" arrive. Have no idea what you are referring to or why anyone would want the boards closed. Would imagine many people don't celebrate Christmas. From the sounds of things, many watch QVC most of the time and may like the company of these boards?

I certainly don't get upset by the trolls that show up on a regular basis, when they think that the cat is away. It's not surprising is it? They do make me wonder over and over again about the fact that human nature can be so depraved and twisted, unlike what is seen in the animal kingdom . I ask myself if they have  been left behind in the evolution or is this crass behavior symptomatic of the direction in which  evolution is headed. Either way, it seems to meet a dark need  or desire of the "culprit" and that there are those out there is no shock to me.

I don't know if it's accurate, but it's been said elsewhere that the boards will remain open... For those who pariticpate later this evening, enjoy and for those who might be derailed by some of what might (or might not) appear, better batten down the hatches...
