There have been several posts over the past few days about Christmas and the "crazies" with the usual do not feed the trolls, we know they will be fed, etc. responses.

It is almost like daring the "crazies" to start posting.

Since they are either regular posters using an alternative nic or at least regular readers that know what buttons to push getting people riled in advance only encourages them to start early enough to affect the most posters.

Just in case someone is going to suggest just not opening the threads complete avoidance is not possible without staying off the boards because the titles alone are "descriptive".

I don't understand why people are thinking that the Moderators will not be working. I would be disappointed if one or two were't avaliable. I do believe that they work from home. You don't have to be in an office to do this job. MODERATORS SEE YOU TOMORROW. Don't dissapoint me lol.

ITA. 

There are now two threads going on the subject.

I think they are beside themselves with excitement hoping it will happen again.

If so fine. Just no hand-wringing and being appalled by what gets written.

The posters demanding to have the boards closed please just stay off of them.Then they will be closed for you and you won't have to see something you don't like if it happens.

Anyway, one of the Mods said boards will be open for Christmas.
