Yes, the Missing Persons Reports, wherein the inquirer is always told to mind their own business,  it's none of their business, the host/vendor has a personal life so leave them alone....the template for predictable responses must be posted somewhere.

This is a pretty humorous thread.

@gertrudecloset  I called Medicare for the first time yesterday to find out when I had my last medical physical.  The wait time was less than 2 minutes and it was a great experience!

Questions about Medicare

For the life of me you should be calling Medicare.  They have a phone number.  Every time I see one of these posts people give out the wrong information.  Some are so sure posters will tell them the truth when many are just as much in the dark about how it works as you are.

The "Do you?" questions from seemingly new posters; who are actually just new nics for a poster that already posts under a different established nic.

Too many personas talking to themselves here.

Amazon

Those who hold this business up on a silver platter as if they could never ever do anything wrong.  People who come to CS section get bombarded with the stupidness.  If you can answer the person's question good.  No need to insult them to defend the poor practices of in place for this company.  Some policies could be reworked.

@gertrudecloset , I swear some posters are related to QV.C owners, they are so protective. 😂😂

Constant complaints abou the hosts.  This should be forbidden.  Who cares that "you turn the channel" when a host comes on that you don't like.  That's a privilege you have.

@gertrudecloset , The criticism is usually not even handed. They defend the egregious behavior if for some reason they relate to the host . The others are criticized mercilessly.

Do any of you who were around from almost the beginning remember the "Packing Peanuts" topic?  At the time, it had the most comments for a single thread.  I'm not sure if I ever remember opening it and looking at it but I couldn't figure out what was so interesting about packing peanuts.  I think people started talking about the environmental issues or landfull waste or other similar items.  At least I'm thinking I remember what someone told me it was about once.

I don't think this was a repeated topic but it sure must have made a lasting impression on me....LOL!

Shop, I don't remember the "packing peanuts" thread, but I do remember a hilarious, long-running thread about the "Barn Coat" that showed up regularly on the Clearance Sales for many years. It might have been a Denim & Co item.

JodyNC always claimed she had finally purchased the last one, if I remember correctly.

@Burnsite   I think I remember that thread and I'm sure I would have read it.

I sure miss Jody and her presence here.  I was lucky enough to meet her and her husband on a couple of occasions.
