@Renata22

Okay, I give up ........  Am I the ONLY person here who doesn't know what a "frosty" is?

Soft custard?  Iced tea?  Iced coffee?  A dessert?  Something else?

Wow, way to rain on OP's parade!  I'm one who generally avoids this kind of thing for precisely the reason you point out, but I wouldn't post it here.  Some folks are just not concerned about sugar, fat, etc. and that's their right.  And some might generally eat very healthy and then splurge on an occasional treat.

@shoesnbags  You're right, many people aren't concerned.  But I am, and I would be remiss I'd I didn't say something.  People can do what they want but eventually there are consequences.  Our society is laden with diseases that could be significantly reduced if people only paid attention to what they're doing to their bodies via the consumption of sugar.  Sugar feeds cells, including the bad ones. With the increase of sugar consumption there's also a rise in assorted diseases - dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, heart disease, etc.

Thank you for being the voice of reason.   Woman Happy

I recall just joining these boards and avidly reading the food and recipes section ... and nearly had a heart attack!  Whoa!  Such unbelievably bad ingredients in large amounts left me wondering if they knew ANYTHING about nutrition.

It also explains why morbid obesity is at all-time high levels in this country.  No mystery there.

83 grams of sugar in whatever this frosty thing is ...  good grief.

@Tinkrbl44   IMO, It is like a soft serve ice cream/ thick milk shake ...a dessert or treat.

It is served in a cup with a spoon.

I was about to post what @Carmie just did.

A Frosty is a thick, soft serve milkshake...thicker than a milkshake, but softer than ice cream.

It has a texture all to it's own which makes it so unique and delectable.

There are some things I just don't want to know the sugar content or the calories~~~

Anyone remember Foster's Freeze?

Nice, cool frosty on a warm summer night.

@JeanLouiseFinch  So you feel it is your responsibility to tell other people what is bad for them and what they shouldn't eat. I think people know all this but choose to eat as they please. Not everyone is stupid.

@proudlyfromNJ ITA The most "holier than thou" people are ex-smokers and reformed foodaholics. People can make their own choices.

Thanks to everyone who posted here. I didn’t look at the nutrition facts on the frosty, which I almost always do. The numbers really are shocking. Like some said here, everyone can decide for themselves whether it’s worth it. I guess we were trying to find a little comfort. We had just lost our precious little chi chi. It was a terrible shock we weren’t ready for. I know, excuses, excuses. It’s been a week today, still so painful. 💔

@Renata22 I'm so sorry for your loss. I think most, if not all, of us have been there and we know how much it hurts!

I understand "looking for a little comfort", but you don't need to justify it to anyone--an occasional treat never hurt anyone. When I had my Frosty, DH & I were just killing some time between appointments.
