Promposals

Until my DD was recently asked to the prom, I had no idea of the trend of "promposals" or "promvitations". Never even heard of it...

This is the increasingly popular practice of kids going to extensive lengths to invite a date to the prom.

Pop the balloon & the invitation is inside

Prom? written on cupcakes, pizza, etc

Will you go to prom? Signs posted on business, over school lockers, along the roadside.

There are hundreds more of these gimmicks that teenagers are using to ask the simple question.

What do you think about it? Cute idea? Too much pressure to come up with something clever?
