Yes & I find many times it's not me it's spell-check...I recently posted in England BA2 was less deadly than the flu & spell-check changed it to EU, the word luck gets changed with a f & so much more. Does anyone know why this happens? My guess is it keeps track of words used by others & assumes that's what you meant too...it's frustrating. And don't get me started with their, there, they're..I use it correctly, it changes, I change it back, it changes again, I change it & quickly hit post...then I have to check the post & make sure I WON, lol. I have a love hate relationship with spell ✔

@SurferWife : I struggle to talk correctly plus the stress of trying to type, remembering how to spell and everything else.

I'm the grammar/spelling/punctuation police! I notice every single mistake everyone makes. Drives me crazy, but I guess that's the way my mother raised me.
So from now on, if I ever make a mistake in one of these areas, I'll die of embarrassment! (I just went to dictionary.com to check the spelling of embarrassment. Shame on me; I only had one "s" in it.)

I am right there with both of you. Sometimes I cringe at what I posted.

@50Mickey wrote:@shoppingless I was going to respond to the OP not to worry. Someone on these boards will most likely point out your mistake and let you know.
I was taught that one should never publicly correct another person's grammar or spelling. It is worse to do this than to make the error.
I'm with you @50Mickey I would never call a poster out for poor grammar or spelling especially the way some do. No one is perfect or have had the educational opportunities others have. English may be their second language or they may have a medical issue. I make my share of mistakes that I don't catch.sorry if anyone's offended or I caused anyone agnst.

I usually use the spell check, but sometimes forget & don't bother to go back & edit if I noticed I spelled something wrong. I don't care that much. It's just social media not an English paper, not my job. I probably make millions of grammar mistakes. That just never really stuck with me. Again, I don't care. And any attempts to correct me by people I don't even know, hiding behind there computers, won't matter to me either. You will look like the bully to everyone else. That's just the way it goes.

I check my posts several times before I hit post, but still there are times I walked away wondering if I spelled a certain word correctly even though I use spell check. On occasion it was wrong.
