Yeah, her father is probably relieved to have the media focus shift away from him with this news.  Although I wish them well, it's hard for me to get excited about this royal wedding if her father will be walking her down the aisle.

No, I truly don't think that very wealthy and privileged young man proposed to Andrew's daughter, who has been dating since last Fall....just to get the focus off Andrew...LOL   Nope, I don't see that happening.  I doubt that the upcoming wedding will benefit Andrew in any way.  If there's more to the story, it will come come out whether is daughter is getting married or not.  She's not a working royal anyway, she's way down the list; so the press wouldn't go easy on him out of courtesy if there should be something newsworthy.
