I have not seen this posted anywhere, but the Princess Royal, who is 73, was injured in a "horse-related" accident sustaining minor injuries and a concussion. Her official engagements will be postponed or canceled as she recovers. Best wishes to her and i hope she recovers quickly. The royal family certainly has had more than their share of medical challenges this year.

I hope Princess Anne has a speedy recovery and is on the path to good health.

Sounds like they're taking good care of her ... and Charles is getting his "leaner" group of active royals.

You have to wonder what Charles was thinking about when he made a big deal of this leaner working royals group. He is fast approaching 80 as is Camilla, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are 79 and 78 respectively, Anne is all most 74. William has naturally been preoccupied with Kate's health. So he is now done to Sophie and Edward who are healthy for now.
I guess that he figured that everyone mentioned above would remain healthy until the Wales children grew up. That's a long way off.

It just seems to not be ending, as far as hospital things go for the family, so far this year. Wish them the best, and very good luck for the rest of the family for this year.

At her age, maybe she should be looking for another hobby -- something much safer than being around horses.

Prayers to the Princess Royal. Sir Timothy as not left her bedside. Even though he was the Queen's Equerry he has never been fond of horses.
I believe Prince Philip was in his '90s before he stopped driving his own carriage horse and did not stop competing until he was in his '80's. I think he was in his 50's when he stopped actually riding on the horse.
I just cannot imagine Princess Anne without her horses anymore than I could imagine the Queen without her corgis.

Hopefully she doesn't put herself in danger again, but if she's willing to risk getting hurt again, then oh, well -- it's her life.
