No.  It's a demographic -- and a useful one in everything from consumer to health care care concerns and needs.  It's shorthand. It's a way to, quickly, identify a group. 

Different demographics have different needs.

Millennials, Gen-Xer’s, Baby Boomers, we are all still people.  I do not let a stupid title define who I am, I do not care if it is for any reason, shopping, health care, etc.  Just nonsense.
