I have noticed the past two mornings that several shows were not live until 6am Central time...What is the deal, thought you were live all day...Is this something new?

Yes and QVC is not the only shopping channel that is doing it. Shophq has been doing it and I have notice that HSN has also done it  in the pass. I suspect they are looking out for the safety of their employees these days. I assume that is why they stop the Studio tours. I wonder sometimes how they do their security with that much movement in and out that large complex.

Why?  Is there a shortage of hosts?

It's a cost savings since there isn't much purchasing late at night.  I don't think it has anything to do with employee safety.

I'm guilty -  really spent virtually no money at QVC between 12:15 AM and 8 AM, not even in the years I spent crazy money.  Maybe there are too many shoppers who do the same.

They can't do 24 hours anymore.  It's obviously.  People have to sleep.  They can save money only being on live during the day.  QVC has an aging viewership & can't seem to attract younger viewers. etc.  HSN has been like this for quite a while.  I think eventually they'll pull the plug on HSN. The network has lost popular vendors and interest in the shows have waned. They already have reruns galore on QVC 2 & 3.  In fact I don't see Shop HQ being live on over night.  They need money.  Every time they change their name, it gets worse.  JTV hawks silver jewelry all day long.   24/7. Having to come up with different ways  to sell silver 24 hours each day.  It's a wonder they don't run out of description titles for the shows.

When did they stop teaching about Time Zones in school?

There are time zones and there arepeople that are up because of their work schedules and also those that have problems sleeping. I have purchased in the middle of the night.
