At least when you buy your own gifts you know you'll like it, plus there will be no hurt feelings involved if you don't!

I bought myself some things already. Some candles from Yankee Candle. Some make up. I didn't get anything expense. Just things I needed for myself.

It seems I always need things for myself around the holidays.  Just ordered myself 2 pairs of slippers and fuzzy socks and used up a gift card from 2 years ago.  I won't say the name of the store, but it starts with ""K".

Did you buy these gifts for yourself from Kohl's??

I have to confess I do buy myself a Christmas present (also a birthday present).  Usually just one and so far this year it is two and Christmas is not even here!  A few weeks ago I was meeting a friend at NM for lunch and there a beautiful wine colored wool coat marked way down.  So that was the first one.  Last summer I saw a navy blue Eric Javitz bag that was the perfect size and the perfect color but not the perfect price.  They sent me a coupon and I got it at a greatly reduced price.  Received it yesterday.  So that makes two, so far.

If I want or need something I need to buy it for myself no one is going to get it for me.

I have picked out my own gifts from my Mom for years now, she prefers to do it that way. And now it's just easier on her.

I  also got myself a dress to wear for Christmas that's too small, so I found another one from Lord and Taylor on clearance for 37 dollars. A simple black Michael Kors that I can wear often. If it fits. I also got some Philosophy skin care for 40 percent off, they sent me an email for early access to their sale. At least being sick allows me to still shop online Smiley Very Happy
