Been thinking of you and meaning to post - sorry for being late.

I am truly sorry to hear of your son's wife terrible accident. A break itself is very painful, and I am sure her surgery will stop future problems. What a nice son to quickly buy the recliner for her comfort. I know she will heal well, but what a painful ordeal to go through. It only takes a second to fall...

which is why it is so dangerous. May our Lord heal her.

Also sorry for sister and her troubles. hard to give up driving...but there does come a time for many of us for our safety and that of others.

Also very sorry for your friend whose cancer is back. The treatment is grueling, but the best medicine can do right now. I feel so sorry for her, as I lost my "sister friend" from cancer 13 years ago, and I know somewhat how hard it is to go through. She is a warrior, and I pray she can be healed. Cancer is a scourge, and research will show the way some day.

You are a loving and considerate person! What is next for you is to take the best care of yourself as you can. So many people need you and your strength. It is sure draining at times like this, coming from all sides, but I know you are praying for guidance and support. I will be thinking of you and asking for your support, as well.

May you be blessed as you are loved and so important.

I am sure your doctor will help,you, ut I have learned

Do not take pills on an empty stomach.

Sometimes best not to take all at once. If you can, take some breaks.

Of course, above all, follow your doctor's advice.

Sorry for all the grief this "friend" is giving you. Can you at least take a break from her? she sounds so selfish, and people like that can pull you down.

Praying for you, that all will be well for you soon.

My sister is doing as well as can be expected I suppose. She's in assisted living now and trying to gain enough strength to become more mobile. Right now it's all she can do to make it from her bed to her chair. She gets tired very easily and is on oxygen full time. She refused chemo and radiation at her age but is taking oral medication and injections to keep the cancer from spreading. She's just hanging on right now.

You must have read my mind. I was just going to post this morning to see how everyone is doing. It's been quiet here for a while.

I'm ok--except for way too much rain and now heat. The humidity is awful and the bugs are worse. I really feel for anyone that has to work outside. Mowers haven't been able to get in here for so long the place has really grown up.

I've been staying inside (in the a/c) and gaining weight because I'm not getting much exercise. If I could only stop eating so much!

I hope everyone is doing well. 🩷

@geezerette : So hot and humid. I need to have the central air serviced because it takes forever to cycle on and off.

I have no energy and not doing anything.

I had lab work yesterday and will see my pcp tomorrow afternoon for test results from lab, mammogram and dexascan.

DH had eye exam this morning. He has cataracts in his left eye but not ready for surgery and didn't need new glasses. He won his appeal with his insurance company for the brand name medicine for his fibromyalgia. It has been over a week but the RX suppose to be ready for tomorrow and praying his copay will be reasonable. One really big Blessing.

I am dreaming about big salads and something cool to eat. I made DH brownies for Father's Day and it took forever for the house to get cool. DH stated: no more using the oven.

Currently 88 and cloudy.

Oh, that's great news about your DH being able to get his medication! And also good news about him not needing a new RX for his glasses. I have cataracts too, but like your DH they aren't bad enough to need surgery yet. Hopefully they never will be!

I hope your test results turn out well.

I sure understand about the heat and humidity. My a/c is fine, but it still is on a lot now too, especially when it stays hot overnight. And there's no way my oven is going to be on for the rest of the summer!
