I have a front loading washer and dyer both LG brand...bought at same time.

They are maybe 10 years old?? But i'm only one using it as i live alone.

Love my set.

@MyShadowLove : After the failure of several different brands lasting less than 5 years including a Whirlpool accumulated rust and I take care of my washers leaving the lid open to dry and wiping out with towels. DH purchased a speed queen washer and dryer but expensive and recommended by service repairman.

@Yahooey : Well for once this week I am eating a lot less trying to tame my excessive cravings for all the bad stuff. Hopefully to make better food choices and reduce the portion size.

It is   very nice...i have a throw that has sherpa on one side...

does yours one have it??

Where did you order it from the Q?

@JaneMarple : I had the opposite problem. Between the cancer medication and the steroids : I was constantly hungry. I would cook healthy like grilled chicken and lots of vegetables high in fiber to try to fill me up and 20 minutes after eating felt like I hadn't eaten all day. I even consumed in one evening the big family pack of peanut M&M's. Wish you could have seen DH face when he discovered that I had emptied his candy and chip basket😀. I wish that I could offer suggestions. Please discuss this with your doctor.🤗🤗🤗

Thanks @Yahooey ...You are lucky that you still have the older models as they were made so much better...We had a Whirlpool set also and left them at our first house when we sold it...Our current set is Samsung and we have had it for a little over six years and it has proven to be a good set....If it weren't for the lid. all would still be good...However, the service guy told us to stay away from Samsung now as they are not made as well either...lots of problems.., so he recommended Whirlpool or GE...but in doing my research online this afternoon, I'm seeing such mixed reviews on many of the brands and models...One of my girlfriends and my twin have GE, so I will check those out in the store and just hope that I pick out a good one.
