@Bri369 : I have my Mother's cornbread dressing recipe. My brother always complained that it was never  the same. Of course not because two different cooks. Good cooks are known for putting something extra in everything that they do and that ingredient or trick isn't always included in the recipe. Plus no one can duplicate the Mother's special love that was included. My mother's friend indicated that my cornbread dressing was almost the same but still very delicious. I was relieved to discover the HoneyBaked Ham whole roasted turkey because it always turns out good and moist and don't mind paying a little extra for it. I had trouble cooking the ButterBall Turkey or turkey breast.

@Mj12 : I like your mood and idea. Still working on the deck or hiring another crew?

I might just do a turkey breast this year.  I need to simplify some things.

@Bri369 : I really prefer the turkey breast because easier to cook and slice. I previously knew someone that made a turkey sandwich for breakfast the morning after TG. She always used fresh sandwich bread, warmed some cornbread dressing put it on the bread and spread with cranberry sauce, warmed slices of turkey breast and included slices of tomatoes and lettuce. Really not bad but told her should be called a double breaded sandwich with some turkey and extra stuff. Of course she was tall and skinny and needed the extra calories.

I have eaten that sandwich - but not for breakfast.  Pie is for breaskfast the day after Thanksgiving.

My son always buys a special spiral sliced ham from Walmart...and i hope he can find it this season coming.

Plus he also buys a boneless turkey breasts for eith T-day  or Christmas day.He is very fussy also on his brands.

Also like you i don't drive and depend on others for groc. shopping and buy enough freezer meals, etc to last for 2 weeks or more.

Maybe i also need to stock up on 4 Hungrey Man turkey dinners!
