@cowboy sam : I don't like changes plus don't like waiting until the last minute to do something.

We love the new coffee pot. It is quieter and doesn't spew coffee every where on the kcup side no matter what size cup you use.The coffee taste much better and flavorful. Noticed that the water covers more of the coffee grounds, instead of one single stream of water it is three. DH very happy. Fits perfectly on the coffee bar. Doesn't have a separate on/off button. For the kcup side just push the kcup looking button until it turns green and brews coffee and press the button twice to turn off. Haven't tried the pot side yet.

This morning another trip to Walmart near the house to pick up DH medicine. I found the raspberry jello and purchased enough for the holidays. Purchased regular 15 ounce cans of the evaporated milk and crushed pineapple. Then purchased two small zip lock plastic containers with the screw lids to store the extra product not needed in the refrigerator for another recipe. This WM had on two large ButterBall Turkeys and several other brands that I have never seen before. Still no hams available. Purchased enough of flour and corn meal for the holidays. Purchased one case or big package of the mega roll of toilet tissue. I have one big package of paper towels.Didn't see any signs for : limit one per customer. Returned home and placed order on line with Honey Baked Ham for our favorite whole smoked turkey and a small spiral sliced ham to be delivered the first of November. I am thankful that we were able to make the purchases. Not trying to hoard food but be prepared. 🤗❤️🥤🥤🥤

@Yahooey : Thank you. The two Walmart had some canning jars but not the small ones.9FAC1A17-6879-49CC-8831-6B2539627439.jpeg

< This set last week in WM was $11.57 and today it was $13.57. My friend in Alabama loves these containers. I sent her the information last week to see if I needed to purchased some for her but she hasn't responded yet. Like first you can't find anything and when finally restocked with noticeable price increase. I really feel for people especially families with children trying to purchase and prepare for Christmas. Our other grocery stores are Publix and Winn Dixie but very expensive and only shop when they have a good sale.

Have you tried the pepper jelly that you purchased?🤗❤️

@Bri369 : Since I am not able to drive and depend on others always making list. The ham with Honey Baked Ham was expensive. DH and I agreed that when the hams are available locally will have a price increase and probably not something that we have used before . Prefer to have something good. DH always insist on the same meal for Thanksgiving and Christmas because for him growing up had very little to eat and nothing extra special for the holidays. I grew up poor but my Mother and BigMama made sure that the holidays were special and plenty of extra food.DH said the difference was that they were good cooks  and enjoyed cooking but his Mother didn't like to cook and not a good cook. ❤️

Honey Baked Hams are very expensive.  That's the only one my family will eat.

We always have to have the same meal for the holidays.  They look forward to that all year.  No matter how hard I try, I cannot replicate how my mother cooked.  Something is always off, and I can never figure it out.
