So watchu cookin' up?

@Bri369

I already made meatless chili and froze 2 quarts for her the other day

Finished roasting veggies for the meatless moussaka -so so all I have to do is layer and bake with the sauce

Tomorrow morning - trying my hand at focaccia - never made that either

She doesn't eat meat but eats seafood - cheese, eggs, butter - a pescatarian

@Yahooey That all sounds amazing!

@Yahooey, Going back many years, I used to sew soft dolls and bunnies.  Mostly to give away.  For quite a few years, I took Early American lessons, from three successive teachers.

Did some old-time things, and also painted holiday types of items.  Mostly for gifts.  I can draw a little, but found some beautiful patterns to work from.  I got into stenciling walls, and still have a few left I did not paint over. Back in the day, I did crewel embroidery, gave classes, and worked for a company doing samples for shops and such.

I do want to get into wool appliqué, maybe this winter.  It’s just wool on wool, but you can make some neat things - table runners and such - without a crazy amount of time.  I have piles of books and patterns awaiting, along with wool.  The wool must be felted, so you don’t have to hem and it does not fray.

I 💕 love art with a passion.  I love museums with a passion.

It’s good to be cray-cray over something.  With me, not cooking, although I so admire all you good cooks.

I know you don't post pics - but I would love to see your crafts

you sound extremely accomplished - so many different areas of crafting

@Bri369 felted wool - I didn't even know what that was until I started knitting

I once felted a scarf without realizing it except - huh, this scarf seem stiff after tossing it in the washer lol

@Yahooey

 I go through phases with crafts.       I'll get interested in something and do it for a while, and then something happens and I stop.

I was into beading a few years ago.  I made a lot of pretty things, but then the beading shop I was going to closed.  Smiley Sad
