i'm always warm so no sweaters for me

i mostly do socks since i wear socks

I already have 2 hats and 2 scarves - and fingerless mitts - I'm done

Turns out it's been about 5yrs. now.  I love the way knitted things look. I do shawls, hats, lap covers, no huge blankets, smaller things I'd say.  Oh yes, scarves and have done the fingerless mitts.  In fact, just this a.m. I set out a fingerless mitt pattern.  My trouble is, there's so much I want to do, that I must have 5 things in the wait.  Have you ever used ICE yarn?  I got some on Amazon, and they do beautiful colors. Just love them. Did just finish a good hat and plan to do one in all white in bulky soon.  Just in time for winter.

i started learning to really knit summer 2018

i only know the knit and purl stitch from my teen years

on a whim - my friend and I walked upon a knitting group in the park

fell down the rabbit hole - and research like mad for needles - acessories etc

i continue to join this knitting group that knits in the park once a week during the summer

i dont really like a lot of stuff - when i worked - 1 new pair of black pumps in to replace 1 old pair - i'm not one to have 10 pairs of black pumps

so..... i have made 2 hats - i only have 1 head

1 pair of fingerless mitts

1 shawl that i use like a scarf and 1 bulk bandana for the throat

the rest is usually socks bc i wear socks

i'm too hot for sweaters

I dont have a stash of yarn bc i dont like a lot of stuff but i did buy a skein when i was in seattle - the woman at pike place market - hand dyes the yarn with her brother -  i will make socks with that -

here is one of my hats from circa 2021

i also did one for SIL and my young niece (her daughter)

Good Morning Y'all: Yesterday was a very long day.

SIL after lunch, came over to get her cake. Wish y'all could have seen her face when I started to cut the cake. She didn't say anything. We set down to eat and gave her gifts. We didn't like her conversation : she kept asking questions about DD life, income and other stuff. DH asked for a second cup of coffee and SIL hesitant when DH asked for a second piece of cake. We tried to change the conversation. Wish you could have seen SIL face when I gave her the second cake. She exclaimed: My whole cake and not sharing this with any one. I made the extra cake because of appreciation for SIL family willing to help DD.

DD was turned down on offer for house. She gave me information on the area where the new job was and housing and preferred schools, both kids are special needs ages 13 and 16. I stayed on line helping her research. Very stressful. DD decided not to move. DD discovered new job openings in her current location and will put in applications. Disappointed and upset.

We are praying that in the future we will be able to keep SIL out of any of our business. DD said she was getting emails from her asking questions about stuff not dealing with items packed and how many boxes and stuff needed to be moved.
