Someone told me yesterday  that  there isn't any mail delivery Monday..if so i won't have a need to be outside at all!

Both my freezer above on refrigerater is full ,  as is my  other small freezer!

I had to push,show  oops "shove"  and then slam those doors shut

Plus   good thing  i bought cola yesterday as i was down two of2-leiters of coke and daughter didn't bring any.

That's right.  Tomorrow is a holiday so no mail.

It's cold here too.  But not that cold!

I'm glad you thought to get your Coke.  Can't run out of that!

my neighbor shoved  a few inches light snow out of my driveway and sidewalk last night...just winter snow  and lucky  that no ice with it!

You're having a heat wave!

It finally reached the 20s here today.  But still in the teens at night.  We got about 8" of snow mixed with layers of sleet.  Then last night it all froze and today it's as hard as a rock. 

We should get minor melting starting tomorrow, but each night goes back to teens or even single digits.  It's not going to get into the 40s until next week.  It's going to take a long time to all melt.

Most everything is closed, except for main freeways roads are impassable.  So most people are home.  A major disruption.

But other areas got hit worse, with power outages and even fatalities, so I can't complain. Stay safe and warm, everyone!

i had snow like most folks

got my supplies friday

mani pedi for zoe saturday

and then snow shoveling began sunday morning

every 2 - 2.5 hrs so there is not a buildup

now my sidewalk is cleared by not everyone had done so

i have not gone out yet....

@Yahooey : Stay warm and safe and be extra careful when shoveling the snow. 
My area escaped the extreme forecast. I purchased extra supplies and a smaller generator because wanted two small generators for the den to have each side of the den by our recliners every thing protected.

@cowboy sam @geezerette @Yahooey : Dealing with a lot of issues. Last weekend finally found someone that is honest and no over priced to replace our central heating/ air thermostat. Installed a much easier to read and operate thermostat for only $75. Let me see if I can remember the correct terminology. He found the heating system path of fire or line of connections not in a straight line to connect with the thermostat. The connection line had built up crud. That he sanded off. Wanted to know the last time system serviced. Thermostat was installed in  last July and charged $248 and called back in August and September complaining thermostat not cycling on and off as usual. We were talked : down and told it was us not knowing what to do. The new guy knows our previous guy. New guy teaches central heating and air system  at our local college( and taught our previous guy)

and runs a busy after classes and on the weekends. He is middle aged and upset that what was supposed to be our friend was over charging and then not solving our problems.

Dealing with the healthcare system and health insurance that are making the patient do extra work for necessary health care.  So frustrating and not fun while very sick. My ulcerative colitis is in a very difficult and painful flare up.

Today DH decided to take me to urgent care near our house. Was given steroid shot and prescribed 5 days of steroids and something for the stomach pain and cramps and DH picked up the RX late this afternoon. 
 Learned this afternoon that My PCP had to do a different gastroenterologist referral because the other referral group not cooperating . The referral has been done and waiting for them to schedule the appointment. This will be a lady gastroenterologist. Praying this will be expedited. I'm so tired and weak. So major changes in healthcare and household maintenance. Always something. Determined to be positive and count our blessings.🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️😮
