Your TD  sounds so relaxed  and love your menu...and i also love, love sweet potato pie

One bite isn't enough  i want to eat the whole pie  and not share with anyone else

My one grandson has invited me once  again to his future f/i/l laws home  to spend time with them  also share all the good food they provide

I am looking forward to being with them.

Sunny  and going to be in 50's today  but rain coming on Monday  and maybe Tuesday.

Expecting some packages  this week

1-pair of shoes for daughter as a Christmas gift she chose...one pair has already been delivered.

2-  for me a pair of Easy Spirit Traciee sandals in pink floal design

3 .. another "Easy Spirit traciee sandals but  in purple color

4-   i made a "mistake" thinking i was ordering a new " air internert + from AT&T...But i" ordered another new advanced wireless phone  system instead!😡😠 one!..so it will need to be sent back later ...sigh

5.  called  and.talked to  a AT&T c ustomer service lady  and explained my mistake  but it can't be cancelled!- 

But she  did order me a "Air Internet" whatever...sigh! another new acct. #etc.

Yesterday.   I couldn't open my garage door up..so i asked my

neighbor lady  for  help  and she opened my garage door for me as it was too heavy for me to lift it up!   

We put some lawn chairs in it  plus a few other things.

Then we went for a walk together.

Today..unkown yet!

@geezerette : Possible change in TG plans. This morning DH receieved email from former coworker that has stayed in contact with him since his retirement. She is having a difficult time at work and no plans for TG . DH asked if could invite her. I said yes but told DH would need more help from him. It has been a few years but she has been to our house on TG. Waiting for her reply.

I looked on Amazon and found Thanksgiving paper place mats, dinner and dessert plates.Supposed to be delivered on Tuesday.

Other bright colors sold out.

That was very thoughtful of your DH to think of his former coworker and it was gracious of you to agree to having her for dinner with how you feel right now.  You both are very kind people.🧡

The plates and all that you found look perfect.  I'm sure she'll appreciate it everything.  Just don't overdo in your preparations.  Make DH do any heavy lifting!

My mind just thought about our dear @dooBdoo    and missing her!Hope she is doing ok

Also missing @Drythe   and wonder how she is also?

There are others i miss also !

Sunday  after neighbor  and i went for a walk and returned she mentioned that she would like to trim back branches on my fir tree  and had a portable battery operated mini chain saw to use.

I made many trips carrying branches  and tree limbs down the hill to my back yard  and burn pile! Tree looks so much better now  and she did a very good job.

A driver in a small car stopped by my driveway  and a man got out  and told me that he had a package for me...i was very,very surprised  as it was the pair of shoes that my daughter asked for  and was delayed somewhere! UPS  was to deliver them  or was it mail delivery...?

But a personal delivery by man in car on a Sunday...wow!  i thanked him and put box on my front steps !  And yes i thanked him again  and he told me to have a nice day!And told him same thing  and turned my back from him

and went back to picking up branches 

Later i opened the box  and the shoe box was inside  and i  opened  it and looked  at the  shoes..yep every thing was ok!

Wow! i haven't slept at all !

went to bed at 11pm  and couldn't sleep and got up  at 2am. its now6:07 am!!!

Tired but wide awake...guess i  might need a nap some time today..maybe!?🤔😮

@cowboy sam : I never received reply from @dooBdoo. Checking my email sent history but it has been several weeks. Praying that she is ok and decided not to post or respond. I also miss @Drythe and praying she is ok. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
