@cowboy sam : Stay cool and safe. Don't like this hot weather. Front yard grass was green but now has several brown areas.

Looking at sales for school supplies. I use a lot of note book paper, composition notebooks, file  folders and index cards. Like everything else , price increases.

@geezerette @cowboy sam @PamfromCT @Yahooey . New chair for den. Looks better than my old big  recliner. This is very comfortable and will give me a different chair to sit in. 

Delivery guys stated this chair and DH new rocker recliner made the room look much better.

@PamfromCT : Thanks. Several years ago had a pair of wing back chairs that were very comfortable. My new chair  is also a push back recliner.

This is DH new recliner and worried about the light color. DH doesn't like the recliner covers that has a big back elastic strap. Putting a sheet or quilt on chair doesn't  work. I will be purchasing upholstery cleaner for stains. His latest snacks are fresh cherries at night.

I finally repositioned the chair arms.

Just had the central are serviced this morning and needed refrigent sp  and what is it ...freon? Guy said to put  on 68 for cool house nope. Previously stated on 72 but now on 70.

Hi Y'all. Currently 91 and hot. Getting cloudy and praying for rain.Just placed grocery order for Walmart and Publix and sad to place two orders to receive what is needed.

SIL took my Amazon return package for the tablet and already received confirmation email from Amazon. Refund will be issued when they receive the package. One problem solved.

Just too hot to do anything.

Another light rainy,hot ,humid day ! 

I know last week i was asking for rain.... i have a rain gage outside  and checked it...i had 5 inches of rain in it!

I had 2 different walks yesterday...

one to hardware store.

I had a $10.00 coupon that would soon be expiring   so i needed  a new filter for my CA  its a big box sixe one  20x25x5   so they had 1  and then i bought a box of 6 Toro liquid ant traps   and that was walk number one,it was in low 80's  and humid  at 9am.

Late afternoon..neighbor called  and i went with her...i need to stop a few times to drink water from water bottle and rest...humidity was bad!

was up/ down  during the night  as my right  ankle had pain in it  and both feet hurt!

Still in my pjs  and not sure if i will even get out of them today!

I need some of "preds"  bacon🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓

I have been busy. Decided the ipad needed to be on a stronger surge protector and with nothing else. Ordered the surge protector. Ordered a small square table to put next to my new den chair to charge the ipad. Table will be easy to put in another room : if space needed in den. Cheap table but cute to use. Decided needed recliner cover for DH chair. Ordered this one since it has two straps to hold the top cover in place. If DH doesn't like it then I will use it on my recliner. Everyone enjoy the weekend and stay cool.🤗🙏❤❤

Writing from hot and humid Connecticut.  I thank our Lord for the gift of air conditioning and feel so sad for those who do not have it.  Years back, our summers were lovely with only periods of extremely hot weather.  No longer.  

That said, I worry about you spending so much time outside in this type of weather.  Please take care!

Wow, you have been so busy decorating!  I really like all your choices, and I think covering your recliner is a great idea.  

Many of us are spending most of our time at home, as retired folks.  We sure do!  Rarely go out to eat, and will order something and pick up and bring home. Otherwise, we prepare simple and healthy food at home.

Happy for you that you are redecorating your nest!  We have so much stuff and try to clean out when we can.

Books?  We have 'em.  Decorations?  Like a store.

Thankful for the Vietnam Vets who come to our home to collect.  Our kids have plenty of their own stuff.

Take care!  I am so happy you found a doctor who is so caring!  A big factor for all of us.
